In October and November our shoppers are busy ordering currys, pizzas, kebabs, fish & chips, baltis and all kinds of cuisine all over the UK. It’s definitely that time of year again – The British Takeaway Awards!
Sponsored by Just Eat the British Takeaway Awards (BTA’s) are the premier Nationwide awards programme for all food takeaway outlets covering a diverse range of cuisines. Customers vote for their favourite takeaway in 13 different UK regions and the finalists within each region undergo further scrutiny to decide the regional winners and the overall BTA winner. Part of this process is mystery shopping and we at Tern are delighted to be working with Just Eat to deliver this for the BTA’s again.
Our mystery shoppers are certainly delighted too as they report back on some of the finest food available. Tern shopper Maxine Lewis said, ‘this Friday I ordered a family takeaway from the best balti house in town and I got paid to do it – this has to be the best job in the world!’
